A change of heart and mind

Firstly, I want to thank all those who sent me messages and comments last week when I wrote that I was going to stop blogging here. I am not publishing those comments (though they are worthy of being published). I just want to keep them for me. I really should explain what transpired.

Last week, I took a bit of a fall whilst out and about on the farm and in the aftermath of a bump to the head (I am fine now although I have looked better), I made the rash decision to stop blogging. What I should have done was rest and let my mind get back in order before logging on. To cut a long story short, I have realised that I do not want to be away from this place. I have many wonderful friends that I enjoy visiting and having visit me even if it is only in a virtual sense. Hopefully with a clear mind, I can be back here with renewed energy and sparkle.

And in farm news, still no rain although there are clouds on the horizon. It is dry, dry, dry.

Glad you are staying. And hoping you get the rain you need with no lightening strikes... thats the last thing you need with it being that dry. We actually got a small storm last night which worked out perfectly as Scott had set out some spinach plants.

Glad you came back.It actually made me think about us all being a little community except we are in 'Blog Land'....we care about one another just if we were neighbours, friends or family.
I always think that you would a lovely friend to know if you lived nearby and I am glad that I get to visit you for a virtual 'cuppa' every now and then.

Well, I am glad you are back! I think a lot of people visit your blog for more than how to grow rice! Take your time getting over your fall and bump on the head. Regards, Nessie

Good for you! I love visiting Sunny Corner Farm for updates on the garden and those cute lambs and chooks. What's been happening in the kitchen lately? Bri is home this week for swatvac and I need inspiration for a dessert...

Cheers - Joolz

That's good news Tracy.
It's dry, dry, dry here too - and when it's dry here, it's dry everywhere. Clouds about, and it feels like a storm is brewing - here's hoping.

I'm so pleased that you have had a change of heart. I just love following your life on the farm. Take care of yourself and don't go knocking yourself around again.
