Five on Friday

I'm  linking  up today with Amy's Five on Friday. It's the penultimate one for the year.

Just emptying my camera before I fill it up again.

1.  This is Butter. I know, what an odd name for a sheep but when she was a lamb, she had a tendency to butt the other lambs. In a logical step, her twin brother was named Bread. She is one of my favourites because she is friendly and doesn't butt anymore.

2. Fruit. Mulberries are still hanging on... just . Cherries too. Peaches will be the  next fruit ready to pick and I'm looking forward to them.

3. The native raspberries have a few fruit on them too but I think the birds will beat me to them. They are a little tart but I like them nonetheless.

4. I am still enjoying my Advent teas. It really is a great idea. I've also been playing along with the Random Act of Kindness Advent. It's fun and I'm sure I am getting so much more out of it than any of the recipients of my small kindnesses.

5. Cake decorating has been happening here. Not my handiwork because I am rubbish with the piping bag. And it is the closest we have to a Christmas tree in the house until Tuesday. More on that then.

Thanks Amy for hosting the link up and thanks for reading my random musings today.

Lovely to see a sunny post full of fruit, cakes and Butter when all the trees are bare over here.

Butter and Bread -- fun story! Your fruit looks delicious. Love the idea of Advent teas and the Random Act of Kindness for Advent. It is the time of giving and it does feel good. Merry Merry!

Beautiful cupcake! It's lovely to see things still growing around the world. Everything here is covered in a blanket of snow and you can see nothing but white. Your posts remind me that things will change and there will be colour again!

Happy Five on Friday

It was lovely to visit today Tracey, I too am rubbish with a piping bag. Whoever did the Christmas tree cupcake certainly has a talent. I did smile at the name of your lambs, bread and butter. Take care.

I always find it odd in the middle of our winter that you have cherries, plums and mullberries and then again in the summer when you have your winters. Have a wonderful lead up to Christmas. Love the name Butter by the way x

Butter and Bread are fun names for your sheep. How wonderful to enjoy all the fresh fruit of the season as it ripens each in its turn. Enjoy your Christmas preparations - the cupcakes look scrumptious.

Lovely moments from your week. I love that the sheep is called Butter, much better than being called mint sauce I should think!! Happy Christmas!
