Keeping Warm

A trip to town today to take the scholar to catch the train back to Sydney for university. The fire went out while I was out and the house was a chilly 9 degrees C (48 deg F) when I returned home (I didn't even check the outside temperature because I don't want to know). Silly me, I have been trying to warm up since.

The best way to warm up, a cuddle from my baby.

A piece of caramel cake, a hot chocolate and spicy chicken curry for dinner doesn't hurt the efforts either.

48 degrees! Oh my word - but you are excellent with figuring out the proper menu!

Oh, she's just beautiful! :) I can't even imagine cold temps right now.....although I wouldn't mind a day or two of it. The caramel cake looks amazing!!

Tracy- It may sound insane, but I truly wish that it was 48 degrees. I am much better at warming up- I can pile on layer after layer of sweaters to do so. Dealing with 100+ temps is harder in my opinion.

cuddles certainly do warm one up - especially from such a sweetie... got very cold here... I think the coldest I have felt all winter...
