First of Spring

What a lovely day to mark the first day of spring. Sunny, breezy and even better, a foggy morning to start off. My family have convinced me that there really isn't enough in the garden yet to keep them interested or happy so I am postponing my challenge until their tastebuds say it is time. That's ok, a month of planning and planting will make the challenge all the more tasty.

I really have missed this space. The blog that is because I haven't missed my real life space at all. I have been very much living in it and enjoying it.

Plenty has been happening and there have been some changes here on the farm and some other big changes in our lives are in the works but that will all come out in time. I have a to-do list today that is in desperate need of completion.

Next job- something to do with a sourdough starter and actually starting it. Then write some birthday cards etc. Tough jobs...not.

Snowbells

It has been some time (three months almost) since I have published a post publicly so I'm not sure if anyone will notice I'm back or indeed that I have been absent.

I'll be glad to hear from you if you have noticed that I am back.
Bye for now
Tracy

How lovely to see multiple updates in my reader. Your spring apple blossom is lovely and I am envious of your honey. We used to have several hives on kitchen roof in suburbs and moved them to a property in Hunter Valley. Eventually had to get rid of them as husband became increasingly sensitive to stings and we were over an hour from Cessnock hospital. He also became allergic to leeches. I made blackberry jam once on outdoor trench fire with blackberries from next property, unsprayed, and our honey. Very yummy.

It is a shame that some people get their kicks from prying and nastiness.

Welcome back!! I have so missed seeing what you have been up to on the farm. The first day of spring is a great time to return. A new beginning. All your blossoms are looking great. The new owners of our place will be seeing our great big wattle in flower and the fruit trees start to blossom. I hope they enjoy it as much as we did. I look forward to seeing what else you have been getting up to.

I just signed up for FNSI and noticed your name down on the list, so figured that could mean you were back....... Although I have to admit I've only managed 1 post myself in a month due to all the family sickness and other stuff going on! I have no idea how the snail mail is going as it's been quiet as a mouse also!! Anyhow, I did notice and I did wonder, and I did miss, and I am happy to see your post :)
let's hope Sep is a little less brutal for us both :)

I live in similar circumstances to you, except in Tas. Interesting to see your plum tree in full blossom....mine is only just getting there although the apricot trees look just the same as mine. It's nice to find a blog that is of similar content so following you now. I blog about life on on our property at Cath@Home .........in case you are curious.

I still read your blog! But I am slack at commenting lol. And I may only read blogs once a month or so. And I may only post myself every month or so!
