We like using lentils because they are high in protein and make a suitable meat substitute. We are very fortunate in the UK as we can buy a lot of frozen meat substitutes these days.
I think your swap blocks could make a lovely quilt.
Well done sorting those fabrics, I bet you feel happier now! Not decided on my fabric for The Splendid Sampler yet!
Barbara xxFlashinScissorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06408946289711452871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292201375224761090.post-27859435665819859632016-01-26T03:23:29.164+11:002016-01-26T03:23:29.164+11:00Very nice and sweet post!

I was wondering if your squares that you are not so in love with could be made into a quilt or some potholders that you could donate to be sold perhaps? Then you might feel better about them. Just a suggestion, please don't think I am poking my nose in. Hope you enjoyed your shepherds pie, it is one of our favourites too! xxAmy at love made my homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17111180584250029433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3292201375224761090.post-9166074996373447972016-01-23T23:03:38.189+11:002016-01-23T23:03:38.189+11:00I recently sorted out my fabric stash & feel a...I recently sorted out my fabric stash & feel a lot better for having it all neatly put away. I can't however see it lasting for long! I love that you joined a quilt a long group to use up some fabric. I've recently joined a quilt along too - alas mine comes with fabric so there is no helping me!! Hope you enjoyed your shepherds pie, I enjoy mine made from lentils instead of meat.
