This autumn sunshine is just right it seems. Not too harsh like the summer but with a little more warmth than winter. It's almost impossible not to feel your spirits lift (if you let them). Throw in some happy flowers and actually catching a glimpse of my son, Tom, on television (I haven't seen him since early January) and it was a very nice day indeed. If you watched the "Road to the Show" program this afternoon you might have seen him too.

What I'm also enjoying about the autumn is the change back to standard time and nightfall is earlier. It's cosy.

Tracy the Dahlias are just beautiful and the garden is looking lovely.
You are right, it is cosy. I love this time of year. Your Dahlia's are stunning. Have a lovely week xo
That red and white dahlia is spectacular x
Such pretty flowers you do have a beautiful garden Tracy and how lovely to see Tom on T V.xx
You're a funny thing, Tracy - I don't think I know anyone else who likes the early sunset hours. But yes, it is cozier. It may have something to do with your milder climate and the fact that you can still do much outdoors all year. Here, we know that when it gets cold, we're kind of cooped up. I always long for daylight time and just now we are finally able to be outside a little.
I love your cosmos! xoxo
Beautiful Dahlias....I love seeing flowers from peoples garden......have a great day....
I love this time of year...gorgeous flowers...
I just said to my husband there is a bit of a nip in the breeze that is blowing. I love Autumn and Spring not to hot not to cold and Autumn has the change of colour of the leaves and Spring brings in new colour and life. I love that pink dahlia the colour and how the petals are shaped.
Oh so perty!
I love this time of year and it looks like you do too. Your flowers look so lovely...my first attempt at growing real flowers is just about to bloom and I am so excited.
Lovely pics, and a great time of year. Nice to see your boy on TV.
