Help... I need ideas.

Not so sunny Sunny Corner Farm today.

I think I am in a rut as far as blogging goes. I am at a loss of ideas to write about and would be rather grateful if anyone could spare a moment or two to leave a comment to give me an inkling of what people might like to read about here.

I can see at the moment that my blog is a bit of a hotch-potch of the different things in my little world without much focus. Perhaps that is the way to keep it, I'm not sure.

Anyway, I look forward to your insight.

Tracy, way back when I wanted to blog, I started one and then felt it wasn't really me, so I deleted everything. I figured out what was important to me - where I was coming from, and went with that.

I love reading about your chores and what you're growing, and your recipes are ALL so delicious-sounding. Just look for something worth sharing every day. Maybe you're so busy lately that you're not noticing details which may be interesting to others.

I am drawn to your blog, for some reason. :)

Hi Tracey, I think most of us get the blogging blahs from time to time (well I do). I've been busy with visitors and with work lately and have spent very little time blogging.
I like hearing about your animals or what's going on in your garden. What is commonplace for you is unusual and interesting for us would-be city farmers
- like ducks. Do they make as much mess as people say they do?

Perhaps you could try a different theme for each day of the working week:

Monday - Menu Plan

Tucker Tuesday - what have you been making/baking?

Wordless Wednesday - just a picture

or Work In Progress Wednesday - crafting

Thoughtful Thursday - what's on your mind...

Free Day Friday - any subject you like to discuss...

I found some of these at http://beccisdomesticbliss.blogspot.com.au/

Other than that, I just take pics then talk about them... boring sometimes, I know! :)

Cheers - Joolz

I can't think of any ideas , Tracy because I love things the way they are!
I guess in any blog though my favourite thing is looking at other people's vege patches and recipes ...and you do all of that.
Keep up the good work with your hotch potch.

I hear you Tracy...sometimes I just feel at a loss for what to write about so I don't blog...then I feel bad when I get "are you Ok " emails....I love to pop in and see what you have been up to around the farm and enjoy viewing your pictures-it may seem ho-hum to you, but as a visitor I enjoy it..cheers Vickie

Hotch-potch sounds good to me, there's nothing wrong with that and it's nice to get a mix of different things rather than one specific topic. Keep up the good work!

hhhmmm..........something I think about occasionally......really I post what I want and if people like it they read it and if they don't bad luck (for them)........you could worry all day about what you write or don't write.......and no matter what people will come to your blog for various reasons..........
trying to think why I keep visiting but it's no real thing I can pin point so i'll just keep coming back to see what your posting about.........and enjoying my visits......goodluck.......

So happy you have had rain! We need it.... This has been the best summer for years! Blogging rut - how about your house ? Fav sitting spot? Collections? Recipes? What it is like living in the country? (a city person here - it would fascinate me to come and live with you for a week!) meaning being rural how do you organise your life? (maybe it isn't too different!!!???). Your favourite things list. Travel? Viewpoints on things?? I have too much time lately to think I think - trying to forget the pain!!!

I enjoy your blog......sometimes it gets hard to think what to post about...and then there are plenty of things to post about.....keep going....

I like your blog just the way it is, just a little of this and that. I find it a lot more interesting that way rather than just one subject.

How is the rice doing ( or gone)

Keep your blog as it is Tracy, it is fine :)

I don't blog very often these days, just when I have something to share :)
