Shopper's fatigue

Shopper's fatigue is what I  diagnosed myself with this evening. I've been out in town all day. My brain is addled and my feet are tired. I know I'm not alone in this predicament, because town was very busy and very hot and not everyone can be a hardcore shopper surely. Online shopping sounds more enticing all the time.

My remedy is a cup of tea, a quick and easy sweet potato soup for dinner and a turn around the garden.

And a game of hide and seek in the corn.

Our little chooky, Hawkie, thinks we can't find here there. Actually I think it would probably be quite nice napping in the shade of the corn but I'm much too big for that.

I'm wish I was Hawkie. I went to the shops early morning last week to try and beat the crowd and didn't succeed. I'm off soon back there soon to get the things I forgot because I didn't take my list and I'm hoping it may be quiet. I'll never be a hard core shopper. When we lived in the city I did groceries over the net and it was wonderful you could even do the shopping in your pj's.

Best wishes to you and your family for Christmas. I've loved reading your blog during the year. You give me the inspiration to get out in the veggie patch.

I think a lot of people would like to take the option of hiding in the shade of the corn in the lead up to Christmas. I wish you and your family a very happy day and am sure that enduring the hectic town was worth it.
