October Friday Night with Friends

It seems that I can only make it here occasionally. Those occasions for the last while have been for Friday Night with Friends. I'm grateful to Cheryll for hosting the get together. Such a lovely and creative group of crafters.

This month I managed to get a little bit done. I got myself organised to start my new cross stitch projects. I bought these as a birthday gift for myself. I have been waiting quite a while to find a supplier here in Australia and thankfully Deb is now selling them. She has a lot of other patterns available which are very tempting.

I've been trying to be creative with my snail mail too. I used up some card, old magazines, and paint sample cards to make a flip-book. I hope my pal likes it.

Most of my letters are just that, letters. Not much embellishment at all. The words do really mean the most but, it is fun to be creative.

It is so dry here right now. This drought feels like it will never end. It was so nice to take some time to not think about what needs water for a little while.

Bye for now,
Tracy xo

I love the little cross stitches. So appropriate with the sheep. Now you need one with “Grace”. It must have been fun playing with your card. It turned out super cute. I’m sure it will have been well received. Good luck with your watering. I suppose we are one day closer to rain.

Lovely little needlework projects... I have seen them on Debs insta.
The drought just seems so ongoing... so tough for you all on the land.

I am sure your letter will be loved Tracy, so nice to do something creative. It is wonderful you have found an Aussie supplier for the kids you are wanting to do. I hope some rain comes your way soon, I keep telling the showers here to head north, it it isn't working yet 😁😁 xx

Nice to choose your own birthday present - you get exactly what you want! Great that you've had a chance to get yourself organised to start them. Beautiful creative card for your letter - what a pleasure it would be to receive it! Sorry to hear that you are in drought; nice that you could switch off for wee bit.
